Research Compound Weekly is editorially independent but financially supported by AF Wellness & Recovery. These are the working standards we hold ourselves to so that support doesn’t compromise the reporting — and so readers have a way to hold us accountable when we fall short of them.
Editorial Independence
AF Wellness & Recovery funds this publication. It does not assign stories, review drafts before publication, or receive advance notice of what we’re covering. Our reviews and investigations run the same whether the subject is a sponsor, a competitor of a sponsor, or unrelated to the sponsor entirely. When a story touches AF Wellness & Recovery directly, we disclose that relationship in the piece itself, not just in this document.
Sourcing
Wherever a claim rests on published research, we link to the primary source — the actual study, trial registry entry, or regulatory filing — rather than a summary of it. Where evidence is thin, preclinical-only, or contested, we say so directly in the piece rather than letting confident language imply a stronger evidence base than exists. Anonymous sources are used sparingly, primarily in industry reporting where a named source would face real professional or legal risk, and we independently verify what an anonymous source tells us wherever we can.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it and say so. Substantive corrections are noted at the bottom of the affected article with the date and a brief description of what changed. We don’t quietly edit a published piece to make an error disappear. See our Corrections page for the current log.
What We Don’t Do
- We don’t accept payment, free product, or any other consideration in exchange for coverage, a favorable review, or omitting an unfavorable finding.
- We don’t provide individualized medical, dosing, or sourcing advice. Nothing on this site is a substitute for consulting a qualified clinician.
- We don’t run sponsored content without clearly labeling it as such, and we haven’t run any to date.
